Enable or Disable Action Files

If you do not want to permanently delete an agent, you may instead disable action files from the Adaptive Response page. This stops the agent action files from running, while still keeping the action file parameters of the agent itself. You may reenable an action file at any time.

To disable an action file from a PacketShaper or a PolicyCenter configuration:

  1. For PolicyCenter only, choose the configuration with the action file you want to disable from the Editing Configuration drop-down list.

  2. Click the setup tab.

  3. Choose adaptive response from the Choose Setup Page drop-down list.

  4. In the Red Action Enabled or Green Action Enabled column, click the checkbox (removing the checkmark) beside the action file you want to disable.

  5. Click apply changes.
