Access the Command-Line Interface

The command-line interface (CLI) provides a UNIX-like interface for accessing the PacketWise software. All of the functions available via the browser interface are also accessible with commands. In addition, a number of CLI commands support diagnostic tasks that are not incorporated in the browser interface.

There are three ways to access the CLI:

• Remote login utility
• Console connection
• Browser interface
