PacketShaper LCD Panel Messages
PacketShaper models 1700, 2500, 3500, 6500, 7500, 9500, and 10000 are equipped with an LCD panel that indicates the unit's operating state. The LCD graphically represents the traffic throughput for the unit’s inside and outside interfaces. Every six seconds, the PacketShaper checks for conditions that may affect normal operations and then displays appropriate messages on the LCD.
The LCD panel displays error messages indicating the PacketShaper's state. For an explanation of these messages and resolution tips, select your PacketShaper model: 1700, 2500, 3500, 6500, 7500, 9500, 10000
Startup Messages
The following status information should be displayed sequentially on the Packeteer LCD after power is connected:

The numbers represent the amount of inbound and outbound traffic in Kbps. The bar graphs represent the percentage of link speed consumed by the inbound and outbound traffic. To the right of the bar, a vertical line indicates the ten-second peak.
