Reset PolicyCenter

If a PolicyCenter configuration doesn't match the configuration read directly from a unit, or if PolicyCenter doesn't respond properly, you may need to reset the connection between PolicyCenter and the Sun ONE Directory Server. Note that the reset PolicyCenter option does not clear or remove PolicyCenter configurations from the directory server.

To reset PolicyCenter:

  1. Click the options tab in PolicyCenter.

  2. Click reset PolicyCenter.

  3. A popup window will ask you to confirm the PolicyCenter reset. Click OK.

PolicyCenter is reset, then reconnected to the Sun ONE Directory Server.

If you see the message The configuration has changed in the pop-up window, close this pop-up window and refresh the browser information. To refresh the browser, either select the configurations tab in PolicyCenter or click the Refresh or Reload button in the browser. The browser will display the current configuration.
