Enable Compression

As soon as you enable compression and compressible traffic goes through your PacketShaper, Xpress will start creating compression tunnels to other compression-enabled units.

Note: To perform this task from PolicyCenter, you must first select a group and/or unit configuration from the Group: and Unit: drop-down lists at the top of the page.

To enable compression:

1. Click the setup tab. The Basic Settings screen is automatically displayed in the Setup window.  show screen

2. In the Compression field, select on to enable compression.

3. Click apply changes to update the settings.
