Enable/Disable Traffic Discovery

When traffic discovery is enabled, PacketWise automatically creates traffic classes based on the service types it detects. When traffic discovery is disabled, traffic classes are not autodiscovered.

Note: To perform this task from PolicyCenter, you must first select a group and/or unit configuration from the Group: and Unit: drop-down lists at the top of the page.

To turn traffic discovery on or off:

1. Click the setup tab. The Basic Settings screen is automatically displayed in the Setup window.  show screen

2. In the Traffic Discovery field, select on to enable discovery or off to disable.

3. Click apply changes to update the settings.
